..AQUARIUS – AIR SIGN January 21 to February 19 (Air signs: Aquarius – Gemini – Libra)

..BORN: January 31, 1927. This sign is governed by Uranus which rules personal and societal freedom. It also indicates originality of thought and expression. Uranus rules those revolutionary events that have upset even the most established of structures. Much like the insurgent (a person who rises in forcible opposition to lawful authority, a rebel). The element of “air” is tuned into the realm of the mind. Thought is constantly shifting like a turbulent wind. Air does not attach itself emotionally to others as do some other signs of the zodiac.

..Aquarians focus on intellectual exploration. It’s interesting to note that many inventors, eccentrics and highly original individuals are born under this sign. They have an ultra - intense ability to think and reason on many mental levels but this can be a double edged sword and can fluctuate between both pain and pleasure.Aquarians are drawn to humanitarian undertakings and will find themselves involved in roles aiding their fellow man. Aquarians have an uncanny ability to make friends and retain their loyalty. They tend to be very interesting people and people just enjoy being around them. They are not really fond of the routine and tend to stimulate people’s intellect.

..Aquarians can be elusive, mysterious and even unusual people - and above all unique. Even though bordering on what some people might consider eccentric behavior, but it is this uniqueness that makes them so charming. ..L. WARREN: I don’t classify myself as that. Let me put it this way. When I decided, Joe, that after things happened after Ed’s passing I realized I was going to carry on his legacy. His legacy covered a lot of things dear. If I’m going to carry on his legacy and carry on his work with God’s blessing. I know, I never called myself that.

..L. WARREN: No, I’m not on that one side of the fence only, No. I have worked next to that man that I have loved and worked with a lot of years and naturally I would be learnered in that area… I would be at least lernered in that area that I worked right next to him on.

..L. WARREN: That is exactly how it would be… In other words he would be doing the interviews with the family. Let’s put it this way… this is the intial interview now. He is the person who is doing the interviews with the family. I don’t want to be part of that Joe. I want to walk around the house and see what I feel and not be influenced by what is being told to me. That is a researcher and that is that of a psychic and that is what I am doing.

..L. WARREN: I feel presence. I see spirits, I feel vibrations. The most important areas to gain this in is sitting on the bed of the people who lived in this home. That is where you pick up your deepest thoughts. That is where we think out a lot of things from the day that we have had. Where we are going tomorrow.. what we are going to do. That tells me a great deal about a person…. a great deal about a person…. I don’t have that person in front of me to deal with... If I have that person there to deal with I can interview that person, but if I don’t that’s the way I do it.

..L. WARREN: Well I’m glad you addressed that. I’m very happy that you addressed it because that when I was asked to do this I was on this one case and I said now where this case is concerned and where any future cases that I would be concerned where I would be involved in we would have to do it the way we have always done it, my husband and I – you would have to do it that way – and I said, "otherwise I can’t really work with you". I remember Ryan said “What do you mean – do it your way .” I said “bringing closure to these cases.” He said: “that should be the easiest thing.” I said, “that is not the easiest thing. That is the hardest thing.” So he said about using the Demonologist as a test.

..L. WARREN: Yes, I didn’t tell them do that. No. I did not tell anybody to do anything. I decided after what had happened regarding my husband after his passing I didn’t know if I could Joe, I didn’t know if I could carry on this work, I didn’t know if I could carry on this research, I didn’t know if I could carry on doing my lectures.

..L. WARREN: That is one of the most fascinating questions that’s ever been asked of me in that depth!

..L. WARREN: When I began, you might say I grew up in a very privleged home, a very loving home. My parents were Irish Catholic. At the age of 9 something began to happen to me that I didn’t really truly understand. I didn’t know what it was but I would see lights around people. One of the nuns, I could see her lights and they were much brighter than another nun and I said to sister Joseph your lights sister are much brighter to Mother Superior, very very innocently cuz I did not think that I was out of the ordinary. I thought everybody could see these lights, Joe.

..L. WARREN: Look at it this way, I have never read books on psychic development. I didn’t even know what psychic development was all about. I really had no idea whatsoever... so for that reason its something I got punished for. I didn’t get punished at home.. I got punished by the nuns.

..L. WARREN: Either from the supernatural or prea-natural. When I go in on a case that is my goal… My goal going in on a case is to understand what is going on within this family. Does the family need counseling? Does the family have problems with alcoholism, with drug abuse, with dysfunction? I do not like saying that to them but sometimes that is what the family needs.

..L. WARREN: Yes, of course we have. I don’t want to elaborate. {Lorraine's voice starts to get "SHAKEY"}... I don’t like to give it that much recognition. I have been thrown 25 feet threw the air, yes, for going against a group of Satanists involved in worshipping the devil. I have done that. Just a whole lot of things dear. I’m not comfortable with that. That’s very hard for me to talk about. I know God is there for me all the time. I know he’s protecting me and it hard for me to talk about it. Please don’t ask me those questions, but yes I have been.

..L. WARREN: In certain cases it is. In certain cases like this one case I am working on a possession and the other case where there is severe poltergeist activity because it’s the movement of extremely heavy objects that have already been recorded on surveillance and it could be severe poltergeist activity but in that one case, not in the possession case. There are times that the negative cases are the result of the demonic. There are cases also where people have no faith. They are the hardest things in the world to get help for people like that. Very.. very hard.

..L. WARREN: Well I will tell you I cannot go in on any case nor will I go in on any case with anybody that does not believe. You don’t believe you go in yourself. I am not going to take on your burden along with my own. I will not go in. The most important thing to me in my investigations I go into the home of Buddhists– I have worked in Japan – I have gone in with Rabbis. I have gone in with Mormons. I have gone in with preachers of all faiths and denominations. I have done a tremendous amount of work for 27 years with my husband working with the Church of Scotland and the Church of England. I respect all religions but there is only one God. The God that I worship is of the result of Roman Catholic faith and that is how Ed and I have always been and we call on our Roman Catholic faith when we go into these houses when we go into these differences but yet respect other religions but I cant honestly say to a family if we say to me, we are Christians, we don’t believe in having our kids baptized….

..That’s a cop out... What a cop out that is. You call yourself Christians and you don’t bother having your children baptized. Well they can do it when they get older when they want to. To me, that is a real cop out. It is a real cop out. My faith that I have is my greatest protection hat we have had in going into these homes. Its been the protection that we have in the 52 years plus months that we have been involved in paranormal research.

..You can call me anything respectfully that you want.. You can say I’m a researcher, a Demonologist . A subject I guess I’m touching on all of these things and that is not the important things. The important thing is my faith in God and that what I’m doing I’m doing to try to help the family but I want to be guided and protected by him.

..L. WARREN: There {might be} other people there. I think when I chose Ryan I think I chose the best.

..L. WARREN: I have watched him work. I know the sincerity of him. I have spent a great deal of time with him Joe and so has my son in law. I like Ryan as a person. He’s a very good person. I have met his family when they came to State College. He’s a very nice young man. I think he’s motivated in the right direction. I feel that very strongly. I want to help him.

..L. WARREN: That’s kind of a two way street. I am a professional speaker. I take it he has known my name and has heard of me. He asked me to speak at a national conference. I said yes I would be willing to speak at your national conference. He asked me if I would be willing to go onto a particular case. I go on this case.. I said I’m “not” going to tell you things have to be done my way. What I’m going to say to you is that you must bring closure oherwise I can’t work with you. Most of these groups do not bring closure. Closure is closure! Whether it requires a rabbi, where it requires a priest, its going to require a religious figure to go in, not somebody that is calling themselves that. Not somebody that is saying that I am a minister because they got some kind of diploma in that direction but someone that is an ordained minister of God, I don’t care what their faith is.

..L. WARREN: (cutting me off,,, I didn’t even finish the question)... Let’s not go into stuff picking all these things apart. I’m not going to do that.

..L. WARREN: That’s not a case dear. Is that a case to you? There is a beginning and an end if you are an investigator. If you only want to play fun and games and to in and get your psychic photos and recordings and your knocks and what have you.. that’s fine…. but that’s not a case. A case is bringing closure. Its just fun and games. I have been doing this for a long time. You can’t change me now.

..L. WARREN: I’m not gonna get mad. I will just hang up ! {We're both laughing at that line...}

..L. WARREN: My husband I were invited in. We brought in a large team with us. We were the (HER VOICE stresses into a louder tone) “only investigators” of the Amityville Horror.

..L. WARREN: Defao himself was probably influenced because of what he was involved with. To say he was possessed, I wasn’t there. But he certainly was influenced. How this puzzles me. There’s never going to be an answer for this. There’s never gonna be a full answer honey. When Ronald Defao murdered every member of his family, when we went to the house these people were all on their stomach. He started on the third floor and went to the second floor. How can you use a high gauge shotgun to kill people and nobody in that house awakens but there were no drugs in anyones body. The houses are very close together. They are right on the Amityville River. Its prime property. There is a big swimming pool right behind house.

..L. WARREN: Of course it is. Start on the third floor and you are shooting room after room, after room, after room, after room, after room. Nobody defends themselves, nobody gets up and they are all on their stomachs not moved. If they were immobilized it would have to been through drugs. There was nothing in their bodies. Who knows what the facts are. There are no fact. Maybe this will stir something up and we will get some answers. That is one question that has never been answered.

..L. WARREN: In a way yes, but maybe... who knows what’s the fact. There is no fact. Maybe this will stir something up and we will get some answers. Me and my husband have toured the world on a grueling schedule and that is one questions that has never been answered.

..L. WARREN: It could have been the same force. I was warned by the priest that went to bless the home. He begged my husband to never go back in that house again. He said I am worried about you. I know how badly I have been affected. His car went out of control on the highway. Ed had to go back in. He had to finish what he had started and I was with him.

..L. WARREN: I don’t even have a desire, Joe... to go back down 112 Ocean Avenue. I have no desire to go by that place ever again.

..L. WARREN: No, I didn’t. I was asked by quite a few people involved in the case to…

..L. WARREN: Yes, that’s why I would not go. He’s a very disturbed man.
