..Joe H. Slate details techniques to thwart vampire attacks in his book some may find very useful. They are too complex and non conventional to really go into here in any kind of detail. I did find them highly interesting though and recommend his book. He does certainly appear to be the authority on this subject and has done valuable research. I have come across some information on psychic vampires that is lacks detail and pales in comparison to the research Joe H. Slate puts forth in his book. I have picked up other books and put them down because his book really stood out and I chose his as the main resource book on this subject.

..I personally believe the symptoms he speaks of to be true because I was involved with a psychic vampire before I knew the meaning of the word. Because of the profound devastating health effects this had on me I made it my business to find out what the hell was happening to me. These are the types of things one may experience as the result of an attack by a psychic energy vampire: problems sleeping, difficulties concentrating, depression, anxiety and anxiety attacks, impaired memory.

If you are a victim of repeated attacks things could get more serious such as a weakened immune system and the threat of life threatening illnesses come into play. Some evidence would even point to chronic respiratory problems and gastrointestinal problems. I had just about all of the symptoms above and by the way, I now have asthma that I never had before living with this energy consumer for many years. The vampire phenomenon is more complex than one might realize. In past life regression studies there are past life events that could trigger a life of vampirism. ..The word “chi” also known as life energy is common knowledge amongst the Chinese where the word originates from. Various types of energy is in abundance all around us. Energy is emanating from a myriad of different places but I would venture to guess we don’t consciously think about how we are literally swimming in a sea of energy. One of the most obvious energy sources is the solar energy so abundantly coming from the sun.

..Think of what a huge part satellites play in our society. Cellular phones and television broadcasts depend on this exchange of energy. We are surrounded by devices like microwaves, hair dryers, televisions and various other electronics that generate electromagnetic frequencies. Not only humans but animals and plants produce life energy as well. Let us not leave out energy sources such as the sun, planets, stars and the earth and all other living things. This energy is permeating the environment and keeps everything interconnected.

..I have always admired Native Americans from a very young age. Their whole life’s purpose appears to revolve around the knowledge of “universal energy” they grow up with. Nature plays an all encompassing role in both of their heritage, everyday activities and various rituals. This universal energy they focus on unites them as a people and is the source of their strength, focus and determination in my opinion. Just to see the way they function and make use of this “universal energy” and connection to nature is a lesson in itself and speaks volumes more than I can express about this subject.

..There are churches that function on this principle of universal energy. They are called Universal Churches and also call themselves Spiritualist Churches. You will find them filled with empaths, psychics, reiki practitioners and very gifted individuals that use their gifts to heal and teach others. They are very open and excepting of everyone. They tend not to force dogmas on people and this makes for a very enlightening experience for those that have the capacity to learn and are comfortable with this approach.

..Let me attempt to define “psychic energy”. There are no gauges, meters or other technical devices I am aware of that measure this invisible force. Yet it is very real and impacts the lives of those that are empathic. An empath or sensitive (as in sensitive to emotional energy and at times energy emanating from the spirit world), can feel other people’s emotions that are in close proximity to them whether negative or positive. Emotions coming from others can really impact them and cause alarming fluctuations in their personality and mood. Others emotions literally saturate their system and can overload it.

..Let me explain this further as I have witnessed it for many years since my daughter is empathic. When I get angry or upset she tells me that she feels this burning uncomfortable feeling in her chest even when I don’t openly express some feelings I might be holding inside. When there are other people around her that have physical illnesses they can actually saturate her system and she temporarily takes on symptoms of their illness because their energy has gotten into her sensitive system. The most alarming example of this would be when she had to go to the emergency room. The longer she was there the sicker she became. The emergency room was packed and we were surrounded by people with some very painful illnesses.

..My teenager became sicker and sicker and started getting bombarded with other people’s aches and pains. She knew full well what was taking place but there was no solution to this dilemma. We had hours of wait time and this was really difficult for me as a mother being that I could not express to others what was happening because this is the western world and this is not something that is not well received or understood generally in our society. It was a very helpless feeling. One I hope I don’t have to repeat. I know there are ways of grounding yourself and shielding yourself but my teen hasn’t found a way just yet that works for her so she is left to suffer. I have offered her reading material to help educate her on this but she is a teenager and isn’t thrilled about listening to adults.

..Hopefully you have read the Reiki article that is in the magazine. After intense training the reiki practitioner knows how to harness their energy and transfer it to another person to promote both physical and emotional healing processes. This type of energy to some feels quite tingly and goes beyond the bounds of medical science.

..I met a person trained in therapeutic touch (another name for the reiki type energy) at a house warming party and she was giving those that wanted it a mini session of therapeutic touch if they had any physical ailments. She proceeded to waive her hands over my knees and it felt like the slightly like the tingle you get when something goes numb but this was a good sensation and nothing was going numb. The average person can’t see, hear, feel, taste or touch this type of energy. For the average person it goes way beyond what our senses can even process. That is why it’s categorized as the sixth sense. Only certain people are sensitive to it and in varying degrees.
