..I believe in results (regarding MY OWN reporting of, researching of, or documentation of PARANORMAL PHENOMENON) that are obtained with the accepted measuring devices employed by most amateur, enthusiast, and semi-professional investigators. Ask ANYONE who knows me well – I need only direct, honest answers and results. At the necessary times I can be quite the antagonist, using this approach to get the answers I need to have and that I maybe comfortable with accepting as perhaps the TRUTH.

..BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR… YOU MAY JUST GET IT.

..I DO NOT LIKE GIVING A REPORT ON ANY EXPERIENCES THAT (MAY HAVE HAPPENED TO ME PERSONALLY) ON ANY PARANORMAL INVESTIGATION. These experiences are always open to personal and public interpretation, and even worse: misinterpretation. I find this to be a subject to be very easily explained away by a variety of natural occurring, adverse, or even a perhaps a physical perceived physical reaction to self-perceived stress, fatigue, or the environment. The problem I have is… “This has happened to me before…” But... that's ANOTHER STORY...

..We traveled in a 4 vehicle caravan following the P.O.M.P.S. research team up route 43 to route 88 to Fredericktown which is about an hour away from our Monroeville, PA office. The destination of this investigation / report is a 2 story, rental property home that was (UNDER RENOVATION) since the beginning of the year and almost 80% completely finished except for a few rooms and had 3 different tenants leave abruptly – some former tenants even moving far from this property out of the region.

..The plan was to send investigators into the house in teams – our team was the first one into the house: Tara and I would accompany the MEDIUM that works with the P.O.M.P.S. research team, following along and documenting what (the P.O.M.P.S. teams are doing) with two of their investigators. We got to sweep through the house upstairs and downstairs following the Medium, Tara shot FILM STILLS and ran her K-2 E.M.F. meter, I ran the Mini-DV video, the two P.O.M.P.S. investigators on our team shot DIGITAL STILLS and ran an Olympus DIGITAL SOUND RECORDER to pick up any suspected E.V.P.’s as well as to document (our) investigation with the captured audio.

..The main P.O.M.P.S. research team set up their VIDEO COMMAND CENTER in the home’s basement monitoring (4 rooms) that were specifically selected by their team’s Medium based on the homeowner and former tenants own personal accounts of suspected paranormal activity from within the home. SONY cameras videotaping (in INFRARED) were both upstairs and downstairs covering these rooms, hardwired down into the basement P.O.M.P.S. control room. Because of Tara’s (mostly positive) past, personal experience with both psychic’s and mediums we felt this was the best choice and method of investigative reporting for us (VISIONSMAGAZINE). We stayed at the location with the Medium and the P.O.M.P.S. research teams from about 9 p.m. until 12:25 a.m.

..FIRST TEAM WALK THROUGH

..With the medium leading the way throughout both upstairs and downstairs, Tara followed running the K-2 E.M.F. meter, I followed behind her videotaping the repeated trek through the house. The medium DID CHOOSE a few “HOTSPOTS” to which camera equipment and investigating should take place with the next P.O.M.P.S. team going in: references to someone (falling), mention of an old ringer-washer, the sense of something in a “plaid” material in the house. The FIRST WALKTHROUGH WITH the K-2 E.M.F. METER gave us NOTHING – NO REACTION.

..I decided to (repeat the investigation) by making a second pass ALONE with the K-2 E.M.F. meter, retracing the first walk through - again scanning both upstairs and downstairs, even strictly focusing on the medium’s chosen “HOTSPOTS”, and then scanned the selected areas / rooms back once again. The SECOND WALKTHROUGH WITH the K-2 E.M.F. METER gave us NOTHING – NO REACTION. Tara and I have experienced first hand this meter’s readings / reactions to suspected paranormal events in the past. This is a trusted piece of investigative equipment owned by just about every paranormal investigator out there working today… yet we got NOTHING in ANY OF THE ROOMS SINGLED OUT. In fact, the meter NEVER REACTED ONCE during this whole report in any part of the house. I confirmed Tara’s E.M.F. meter sweep results with mine matching exactly what she had found… NOTHING – NO REACTION.

...THE SÉANCE

..This was a totally unexpected surprise and turn of events for Tara and I (Joe) reporting for VISIONSMAGAZINE.COM: the Medium stopped right in their tracks, sat down in one of the “HOTSPOTS” that they had selected upstairs, lit a small candle, pulled out a key-on-a-string out of their pocket, then asked us to sit in a circle around them and told us all to focus all of our thoughts and energy on the candle and key-on-a-string. The Medium, yes, started performing an actual SÉANCE to try to contact any and all (spirit activity) that may be within the house. I will say that I didn’t see that one coming, but we went along with what they were doing. We are there to report, not prove anything to anyone.

..The standered YES-NO questions are asked, the key-on-a-rope starts to (seemingly) move on it’s own following, maybe answering the yes-no response to the questions asked: “Is anyone here that would like to talk to us?”, “Are you a female?”, “Can you touch one of us?”, "Can you make a sound to let us know that you are here?”, “Can you make the lights blink on the meters for us?”, “Are you angry that we are here?”, “Do you want us to leave this house?” "Are you from the GRAVEYARD near this house?" This SÉANCE went on for about 45 minutes.

..THIS IS WHERE IT GET’S PERSONAL

..The Medium is directly across from me in this circle of 5 people: Tara is to my right, and the other two P.O.M.P.S. investigators completed the circle on Tara’s right and my left. As one of the investigatiors started calling out DEMANDS upon whatever may be making the key-on-a-rope (communicating with us) swing into the yes-no responses, I got into the act: literally yelling out very antaganistic, sometimes derogatory demands and challenges to whatever may be (again, possibly) responding to this intense verbal interagation.

..I am sitting with my back up against the wall. Video camera held securely in both hands nestled in my lap – steady as a rock. I start to feel a distinct coldness aimed, falling, touching directly IN FRONT of myself. THIS IS NOT ME GETTING THE SHIVERS PHYSICALLY BECAUSE THE ROOM IS SUDDENLY COLD – NOT WHATSOEVER. THIS IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT FEELING. I experienced a sudden, direct drop in the temperature from the Mediums’s (direct path) sitting position aimed and flowing directly toward myself. THIS WAS NOT A COLD BREEZE. THIS CAN ONLY BE DESCRIBED AS A TEMPERATURE DROP (DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF AND UPON MYSELF) – TOTALLY UNIQUE.

..The “coldness” was experienced by the Medium as well. We said we both felt this at EXACTLY the same time. I start calling out to the other investigators to serve as a verbal record of what I am (personally experiencing) and to capture my vocal description of this event on the videotape and voice recorder placed within the circle. SUDDENLY, I START TO FEEL A TOUCH, A VERY SLIGHT DOWNWARD PRESSURE ONTO MY CHEST. LITERALLY HAND-SIZED AREAS, ONE ABOVE EACH LUNG PUSHING DOWN UPON / AGAINST MY CHEST. THIS LASTED FOR ABOUT 15-20 SECONDS, SLOWLY FADED IN INTENSITY… then GONE.

..They (Tara and the two P.O.M.P.S. investigators) start snapping digital and film stills. There was not any metering equipment present during this SÉANCE from either team to do any indepth TEMPERATURE READINGS IN THIS ROOM. The (two) K-2 E.M.F. meters in front of the Medium, next to the lit candle in the center of the circle (one belonging to the P.O.M.P.S. investigators – the other one was Tara’s own meter), placed just about only 3 feet in front of me are picking up ABSOLUTELY NOTHING DURING THIS PERSONAL EXPERIENCE – NO REACTION.

..The two other atempted, short SEANCES that were performed in two different rooms in the downstairs of the house left us with very dimished results, or with absolutely no results at all in reguards to any PERSONAL EXPERIENCES or POSSIBLE COMMUNICATION from ANYONE, as well as NO REACTION AGAIN FROM THE K-2 E.M.F. METERS in play.

..THE CONCLUSIONS
